Title: Tankmate suggestions please.

Are there any bottom feeders that any of you would recommend that I put in my 29 gal tank? Currently,  the only occupant is a roughly 9" Oscar of questionable character. Any and all suggestions,  ideas, and advice will be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't worry about any other fish, until I got a bigger tank.

"questionable character" = no tankmates in a tiny tank IMO

Too small of a tank for the oscar to begin with.

My parents have always wanted to have an Oscar tank but have never had an aquarium larger than 55 gallons. After seeing your post I did some googling and ran across this site which I am sure you have seen previously. It has some suggestions for tank mates.

As a newbie I also found some of the other information on this site helpful in understanding some basic concepts.
