I'm sure many of you can answer this. If you keep live plants, which types and where is a reputable source?
Thanks,
Dan

I have a Tanganyika tank, so I keep hard water plants (like Anubias). I've also found that adding Flourish Excel (http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/FlourishExcel.html (http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/FlourishExcel.html)) daily makes a huge difference in how well they do. I also get flowers on a regular basis now, which I really enjoy.
I purchased my plants about 3 years ago from www.aquariumplants.com (http://www.aquariumplants.com), which I've had good luck with. Although, there's probably a great source here in MCA.
Also, here's a recent video of the tank to give an idea of what plants I have ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_6jDp_0OmI (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_6jDp_0OmI)

I keep Anubis, a few different varieties, a few different crypts, Java Moss and three different types of java fern, then a few one offs, like Madagascar lace and Kleiner Bar Swords, pygmy swords, and corkscrew swords.
For me, what I keep in a tank really depends on what is in the tank and what my goal is. Most of my Africian cichlids do okay with the Anubus and Java Fern and Moss, but I can't keep swords or val in with them, but I can with my South Americans and community fish.
