I recently acquired Some Tropheus and I wanted to know if cobalt mysis spirulina food is ok for them to have? And if not what food is..
-
I personally wouldn't feed mysis to Tropheus. Stick to something purely vegetable based like HBH flake & the ocean nutrition green pellets.
-
HBH veggie 8 is the top food for Tropheus, this what all mine got crazy over.
-
I also used Ken's Sprulina flake and Dainichi Veggie Deluxe and Veggie FX. They loved all of them and I never had issues. Dainichi is quite expensive though.
-
Jenna I won some of the Cobalt Mysis Spirulina in the contest in December. Fish love it, but I don't feed to Tropheus.
It has 44% Protein, 12% Fat and 3% Fiber compared to HBH Veggie 8 that is 28%/9%/6%
