So I noticed one of my peacocks holding for the first time three days ago. Last night I decided to put my new egg rocker to use so I stripped her. Much to my surprise, :o when I stripped, out swam 25 fry with eyes, tails, and just a little bit of the egg sac left. I wasn't prepared for that and I did not have anything setup for them, thinking they would be in the rocker for atleast 2 more weeks. I put them in a 20gal tank grow out tank with 0.5-.075" Julidochromis regani. The Julies overnight ate five, the rest of the fry are hiding under rocks where the Julies can't get. My question is, can anyone recommend a fry box to hold such small fry till they get some size on them that they can hold their own?
Thanks,
Matt
