everyone here has kept numorous types of cichlid, just wondering what are peoples all time favorite. Looking to get into some different cichlids and wanted to get a poll going.
Mine are the Champsochromis caeruleus love the look of them.
But I always have a soft spot for the livingstoni probably #2 in my book, it just has a lot of personality.

A few of my top picks would have to be Nimbochromis venustus, Gold Ocellatus, Maleri Sunshine Peacocks, Iceberg Ahli, Copadichromis trewavasae, and Cyathopharynx foai/furcifer
The Copadichromis and cyathopharynx are probably my top picks

Nice list, but if you just had to pick one, which would it be?! :P

Currently, Wild Discus.

I'm all about the personality, so I choose ocellatus because they are really funny, busy little fish that always look grumpy! Runner up is altolamprologus calvus/comps.
-
My favorite so far is what I currently have, Cyprichromis Coloratus Jumbo Yellow. I love their personalities and colors. I have them in a 125g species tank, hoping for some fry in the next few months.

Parachromis managuense

I really like my cyprichromis Leptosoma. One of my goal for the next place I live will be to have a 100 gallon tank with cyps as the center piece somewhere everyone can see them, as opposed to in my fish room.
I also really dig N. Multifaciatus for their behaviors.

Mine have to be my phenos. Cyps are up there too, below is just one variety I have.
