I'd see if Dan would do a house call and do a complete tear down on the tank clean that sombitch up and silicone it back together.
Most 6ft tanks are lower height than the 31" of the 7ft one. Then there's getting the old tank out, trying to lug another one down the stairs again. I just don't have it in me anymore to do it.Yeah, 26" depth is what you'd have to down grade to (150 gallon) or 24" (180 / 125).
As for the old one, %@$# that thing - carry it out in pieces!

Tried that NUMEROUS times back in the fall. Sent Dan 4-5 emails as well as multiple phone messages over the course of 2-3 weeks time and I could not get him to even return one of them.

I've also tried to get a hold of him. It appears that he has disappeared.
