Hi gang!
After a 25 years absence I've been itching to get back into Africans with a much larger tank this time around. I'm considering purchasing a 75 gallon Clear-for-Life acrylic tank from Myfishtank.com.
Has anybody used this tank manufacturer or online retailer? I'm old school and it's tough to pull the trigger on an online purchase of this size without any recommendations.
Thanks!
Randy

Welcome Randy :)
I took a very long absence as well, 25+ years, and got back into Tangs in 2010. I went the Craigslist route to get a 125g setup. It was fine until it developed a leak in December, which required resealing. So if you end up buying a used tank it might be worth resealing it when you get it.
BTW, that tank you're looking at looks nice.
All the best.

Thanks for the response Tim.
Things are sure a lot easier now than back in the "pre-internet" days aren't they? I've learned more about the hobby in the last week online than I EVER did from the local pet shops back in the day. I don't know how I kept my fish alive back then! LOL
I still have the 30 gallon acrylic tank with black acrylic canopy that I bought 30 years ago and it looks great to this day. It was just never big enough for ciclids.

Welcome back to the hobby.

Welcome to MCA. You are correct it is so much easier to find info these days than it use to be. I was out of the hobby myself for about 25 yrs and just got back into it about 3 yrs ago and was amazed at how much info there is now at your fingertips.
I also highly suggest trying to attend the auctions/meeting or other club functions. Not only will you be amazed at what great prices you can get on fish from members, but the info and friendships are a great bonus which makes the hobby even more enjoyable.

Well.............I figured if 75 gallons would be good than 90 gallons would be BETTER!
I've got a new 90 gallon tank on the way! Trapezoid overflow with an 1-1/2" diameter Durso standpipe with a 3/4" return. Two weeks to build and another week for shipping. I'm gonna need lots of help from you folks!
;D
