Has anyone been to the Grabd Valley Aquarium Club swap meet before? I was wondering if the drive over is worth it.
Thanks

I was wondering the same thing.
-
I haven't been to their swap, but... GVAC is a great club & I'd imagine it'd be worth the drive. All the meetings that I've been to have been worth it.

With the lower gas prices now it won't cost that much to get here especially if you can carpool.
Bring a pen and paper and get contact info of the breeders on this side and what they have. That alone can be worth a trip.

I've gone the past two years and have found some nice fish to add to my collection at good prices. There is also quite a bit of supplies and tanks available. This year I plan to attend and also have reserved at table to sell some of my extras.
-
Yeah, I signed up for a table as well - not sure how many live things I will bring, but it would be a nice way to get rid of some hard goods I am hoping. That said I am hoping to come home with some live goods :)

Also, since I will be driving across the state in fish mode, are there stores between GRap and A2 that I should hit up. I am planning on going to Preusses on the way home for sure, but anything else that is truly spectacular?

I've heard good things about Blue Fish & would check them out, if I was out in GR.
-
Blue fish is definitely worth going to if you're in the area. It's like a small preuss that cleans it's tanks

Excellent Store--Clean and Well Maintained and Offering a Variety of Items. Best LFS on the West Side of the State. V.I. Pets is good also--but-Not-as good as BFA!! 8)
