Quick question. Just set up my new 75g tank with a AC110 filter. Are they normally loud? Its running smoothly just is making a slight rumble from the bottom/back of the filter. Any ideas how to fix that? Or if its just how it is.
Thanks

Could be air trapped, could need a cleaning (it was dry for awhile before I brought it over to you), or it could be that the impeller and intake tube are not seated completely. The other possibility (and I hope not) is that the impeller could be slightly worn.

^^ Yep, my first thought would be air trapped in the intake tube.

Did u use the piece that spaces the bottom off of the tank to level it out. Maybe pump is vibrating against glass? Also if the intake tube isn't on perfect it will make that noise as well as what others have said about the air. Should be quiet.

Thanks all. I think it may be it isn't sealed completely. Will take a look at it when I get home.
P.S. its working perfectly
