Title: Local Sources for Poret Foam?

Hello,

Does anyone know of or have an 10ppi Poret.  I just got 2 eheim 2262 and want to add some poret....

Looking for 12"x12" pieces...

How many pieces? (What I might have would be 2" thickness FWIW).

Does it need to be a solid 12"x12" or would 2 6"x12" pieces work instead.

Thanks Ron.....I just discovered Swiss Tropicals and order a couple of 13x13 sheets....it looks like good stuff hope its worth the cost :)

I just found out recently the hvac foam is the same stuff

Im in the HVAC wholesale business and the thickest stuff we have is 1/4 inch. I have been wondering if I can get thicker through work just haven't checked into it yet. Good luck.

I asked some of my reps if they can get it and they said they can get up to 2 inches. Just didn't ask prices.

Hmm, guess I am going to have to look into it Monday. Maybe we are able to order something like that or thicker. That would be great if I could. Come to think of it we have the re-placement filters for Humidifier's which if stacked would be close to 2 inches.

Yeah it comes from a place out of Ohio I believe.
