So I am running into something that seems like Ich on steroids. Fish was fine last night, looked like this this morning, had swim bladder problems by afternoon and will likely be dead by the morning. I have never had it move this fast before, so I am wondering if it is something new or I am just having some bad luck.
Thoughts?

I'd be inclined to go right to the hardcore meds and try to save it with Nox-Ich.

Either that or quick cure (if you can find it)

Or chelated copper.

I've never seen Ich like that, but don't know what else it could be. :( Good luck trying to save him.

Yeah I haven't seen it like that before which is why I wasn't sure if it was something else.

How's it doing?

He was dead within the day. Never had Ich move that fast on a fish before. Super bummed and super worried about it spreading to other tanks. I haven't had Ich in years, but I just redid the whole fish room, so a bunch of new water and stress, hoping it was an isolated incident.

I'll cross my fingers for you. Hopefully, if the others were going to get it, it would have shown up by now.

Side note, because I am not paranoid, does anyone have a supplier of Diatom powder they like, either local or online?
