Title: CERAMIC TILE AS TANK BACKGROUND ?

HAS ANYONE EVER TRIED IT ? IF SO WHATS THE OUTCOME AND THE BEST WAY TO DO IT THANKS IN ADVANCE

I have not done it myself but I have seen a few guys over on C-F forum do it in the past. Just wash the tile well and use GE Silicone 1* to attach it to the back of the tank.  Only drawback to it is you will be able to see the lines where each tile meets so might not be able to hide the seams very well.

So no grout?!  ;D

Painting the back of the tank a color that is similar to the tiles might help (at least until algae occurs ... something to consider about what kind of tile texture you might pick and whether you'd ever want to clean algae off or not).
