Glad to say the project is over...enjoyed building it but wife really missed her spot in the garage.  The before is what I bought off Craigslist.  The after is what I turned it into.  Not bad for my first ever build.

Nice! Did you build a new stand from scratch or redo the one it came with?

From scratch.  The old one was actually the center piece of our bonfire last night.  Was pretty nasty.

I was curious. I recognized the initial stand as a commercial one that, IIRC, is MDF. Good to hear you the new version is from scratch. It looks well done.  8)
