Got a Labidiochromis chismulae for my all male Malawi cabaret.
It was a great auction for sellers. The few things I wanted / had room for went much higher than my cheap butt would bid. The auction had a ton of item too - I think I heard 1200? That is huge. And if the prices where good I see that as a sign that fish market is coming back strong. I hope at future auctions that sellers will feel more comfortable to bring some of the rarer fish as well. I brought a handful of items to sell and was very happy with the selling price of my items - the check I'll get will be for more than I hoped for.

Picked up a large P. "Freddy" for my lonely female. They're hanging out together on either side of the divider, getting to know each other. Also picked up a bag of Heterandria formosa (small native livebearers from the south), and a used filter to move a bunch of water in one of my pike tanks.
The selection of items was great; needed to excersize all control not to go grazy and load up the car with new stuff.
Next auction, though?!?

Well, they aren't cichlids but I brought home a trio of Tiger Limia and a pair of Chocolate Australe.

The quality of the dry goods was the best I have seen yet..but then again this was only my 5th auction.

Was this the auction where they have a "buy it now" table? How does that work....like how many items can a person put there etc.? Does it encourage more of the rarer stuff that folks would normally hold back from an auction for fear of not getting a good price for their good stuff?

you can put up to 5 items at the BIN table and at the end of the BIN time the seller can remove the item or
it goes right into the auction. 1200 items was the pre-registration some people that pre resgister
didn't show up with their item's or didn't bring in the same amount they register
