Wanting todo an all male Hap and Peacock tank. Slowly getting read of all my Mbunas and any females I have. So that will leave me with 1 8in male Venustus. Looking for good colors and adult size. Dont want to grow anyout. So atleast 4-5in.

I wouldn't put 4 inch male peacocks with an eight inch venustus.

With that big a size difference, eventually you will only have the 8" Venustus left...

Really...? Ok.. We have large Venustus, Livingstoni, and Fusco at that size with many smaller fish.. Maybe we have just been lucky.. But a 4 inch Peacock is pretty big even compared to an 8 inch Venustus.

How bigs the tank is the question... I'd never ever keep a nimbochromis species in anything smaller than a 6ft tank.
-
Its a 6ft 125gallon tank

Hes in there right now with fish from 3inchs up to 6 inchs. No problems. I'm looking for adult size fish. I dont want to grow any out. Just figured 4in was bigger then the smallest in there now so it would be good.

You should be fine just keep an eye on him nimbochromis tend to develop a mean streak
