Unfortunately I need to get some medical tests done for Hunter at the vet so I'm selling off a lot of items to help with the bills.
(The other thread was getting very convoluted and since I was adding much, much more and lowering prices I decided to start a fresh thread).
Since I am remodeling the fish room I am going to tear it down completely and start from scratch. The tanks I will not need are listed for sale below.
FISH
1-1/2" Wild L-114 Red Fin Sternella~SALE~$30ea ALL SOLD
SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY OFFER SOLD TO A SECRET BUYER
5" Labeotropheus trewavasae "Chilumba"~$150/group (4m,6f) very prolific breeders {SPECIAL NOTE: the fish carry a VERY unique dominant gene that I have been doing a research project on and these fish are my control group. I am working on an article that Laif DeMason plans to publish in his Cichlid News magazine. I had absolutely no intentions of releasing this fish until the project was complete and the data published but I need to clear this tank out so here is someone's chance to score on a very unique opportunity that has the potential of being very lucrative. The trait involved here has nothing to do with albinism, actually much more rare, but think along the lines of the value of the first ever albino Eureka Peacock or albino Taiwan Reef. Some of the first available albino Eureka Peacocks were going for over $150/pair at our MCA auctions and even more at the ACA auctions.} [due to the special genetic nature of this group, I will not separate them].
p.s. the details of this trait will be divulged only to the buyer (just in case they prefer to keep it under wraps for the time being).
Also, according to Laif and several other experts in the trade this has not been documented before.
This group looks like the standard representation of the species and collection point.
The visible trait is only seen in offspring.

Hello all,
I just got home from a stay in the hospital for 4+ days. I'm gonna be resting for the next few days and won't be up for any visitors to pick up items until the weekend. For now, I'm going to spend some quiet time with just me and my two hounds so, if you try calling it will go to voice mail.
p.s. Hunter is doing much better and he returns to the vet later this week. Thanks to everyone that has helped out.

Yes Ken, minus the two I have for you.

He might be referring to me...I had no access to the computer while in the hospital and I left my phone at home so was not reachable.
Sorry Mike, it probably seemed like I was blowing you off not answering messages.
I'll be available this weekend if you'd still like to come get the items we spoke about.
-
Glad to hear you are home. Rest up and take it easy.
-
Glad to hear you and Hunter are both doing well Tony.

I guess we're wondering what you were getting at with your comment then.

Yeah Mike, they both went bonkers when I walked in the door.
Maybe we'll get together this weekend...I'll be in touch in a couple days.
Sleeping a lot for the next couple days.

I think he's making the observation that two people posted comments after his post about me being in the hospital without noticing.

Waiting for my ride home and thought I'd update this thread.
I'm still feeling lousy but I can do that at home with my dogs ;)
I'll try to get counts of fish tomorrow....not sure if there were any losses while I was in the hospital.
I'll also contact everyone that has been waiting on tanks and equipment.
Maybe if I feel okay I'll try to be available this weekend.
-
Glad to hear you can go home!! Take it easy!
-
Don't rush the recovery Tony.
-
Tony, take it easy..I'm sure everybody can wait till after the holiday, to get anything. You need to take care of yourself first.

Couldn't agree more. Take care of yourself, your dog(s), and your fish. We can wait for the goods. :)

Thanks Steve. Hunter is doing really well and thankfully the vet let me make payments. The deals I have pending should cover the most of the balance.
As for me, I'm still easily exhausted but hopefully I can take care of the folks that have been waiting on me.
-
Glad to hear Hunter is doing better. Hope you yourself get to feeling better. I'm headed to the Au Sable for 2 weeks starting tomorrow so I'll catch a brookie for ya ;)

It was nice finally meeting you. Thanks for the help loading the 180gallon. Now the fun adventure of cleaning it and getting it setup begins.... Will post pictures when I am done.
