Title: SOLD.
Post by: neilsarah on May 12, 2014, 06:00:45 PM
Selling my marineland 60 gallon tank and stand. Comes with tank, stand, hood, lights, hob filter, and the white crushed coral/pool sand. As of now it's still up and running. I need to make room for my new tank from Great Lakes. I will be tearing it down within the next couple weeks. Figured I would put it up here before I hassle with Craig's list. 250 or best offer.

Ok so I have to ask. Am I asking too much for this setup? I figured this would sell fast. Any feedback would be appreciated.

NS,

It's a nice tank.. but there are soooooo many 55 gallon tanks for sale (or 60 as you posted), not to mention other various size tanks available. Supply and demand I guess. I think you can get 55s at the $1 per gallon sale, so unless someone really likes the combo you have, that may be in the back of their mind.

Good luck with the sale.

Are those LED lights?  They look slim like them.
 What make&model is the HOB?

Personally I'm not interested...  but if it's a desirable filter & those are LEDs then it may help your sale.

Typically see 55 gallon setup for $150, but with that said yours looks nice.  Sometimes you need to turn to craigslist for more exposure.

No they are just florescent lights and the hob filter is nothing special. I do have it on Craig's list now so I will see what happens. Thanks for the advice.

Ok. I have to tear this down this week to make room for my new 195. I will go 150 if anyone wants it. Pickup in madison heights.
