Title: angel egg help
Post by: Aquaman19 on April 11, 2014, 03:06:43 PM
I got some great angelfish from the GDAS auction.  They have already spawned.  My problem is that I have MTS in the tank and the little ones are climbing the pot to get at them eggs.  Is there anything I can do like remove the pot to a temporary container?  If I lose the spawn it is what it is but they are my first angels.  Please let me know if it is a lost cause.

It is usually better to pull the eggs and hatch them in a bowl with an airstone and a drop of methane blue, then brine shrimp feed in a 5gal or 2 1/2 unless you have parents that will not bother them but they could also get stressed and eat them as well
