Hello there,
I am in search of a hard to find Mbuna called pseudotropheus galanos mbenji island. I have found a group overseas but it would be fantastic if a more local person had some fry they would like to sell me <3

Contact Dave at daves rare fish he's had them on his list before he may be able to get them again.
-
I emailed today and am just waiting to hear back from him. Such a cool fish that I would love to bring to the hobby here in Michigan :)
-
Looks neat. I've never seen any available locally. Kind of reminds me of a better looking red-top zebra, LOL.
-
They were once part of the Ps. Willamsi family but have since been reclassified.
-
Only place I've seen them is Dave's... like Dan said above.
-
Dave has a group of 20 outside that will breed like crazy for him this summer. I also found them at We Spot Tropical Fish, but of course they sold out of them last weekend -.-
-
You could ask Dale at FF to keep an eye out/order some for you.
-
I have asked FF and Preuss if they have any on the lists and they have not gotten back to me yet. I'm crossing my fingers though. Once I find a specie I like; then I must have it ;)
-
Any luck? Nice looking fish!
-
Not so far but I will keep you guys updated. I want to bring this Mbuna to Michigan!

Just a matter of time until I get them :)
-
I should have F1 fry on my doorstep in 2 weeks :D I am so excited!
-
CONGRATS!
-
Good for you, Jess! It's great to hear you've succeeded in finding a source. Was it a breeder close to home?
-
Unfortunately not. Going to have to have them shipped from Wet Spot, but it is worth it 8)
-
They are shipping out Tuesday for Wednesday!
-
EXCELLENT!
-
Did you get them?
-
Yes and they are doing great!
-
Any Pics ?
-
I will get some tonight when I get home if it isnt too late :)

These guys are pretty tiny and exceedingly difficult to take pictures of. They look almost exactly like young Williamsi at 1.5 inches.
