I think the dog hair floating above the male adds a nice touch.

Not yet settled in, they pounded some omega one, freeze dried mealworms, and some bait minnows from the local bait shop. I'm glad they ate, just waiting for them to heal up and color up! Currently divided in a 72x18x21 until the stand is finished for the 72x36x24 that will be their forever home.

Any suggestions on tank mates? I was thinking some adult convicts or grammodes in the 270.

Convicts would be good. Definitely need a lot of hiding spots for them. I have a few convict flowerhorns, but they're only 2" or more. How's the pair doing? Any pics or videos?

It would be nice of they would breed. First time was like before I got married and those eggs were gone so fast. These two must be shy or something. The female bashes the divider colors up etc the male just does nothing its like he isn't interested.

Take out the divider for a bit. You'll know how interested he is real fast. :)
