Arrowheads love nightcrawlers and that's what it's been eating, per Blair and me talking the other night.  From what I've read the occasional feeder fish is OK if it's been quarantined by you for several weeks but that makes a huge mess in the tank so you need a filter to keep up and regular 50% water changes.

It's in an odd sized Japanese 36x18 breeder tank
