Never had shellies, don't have a lot of free space, but I'd really love to try my hand with this guys.
Looking for a reasonable price for a pair.
Preferred pick up at the auction on Jan 18..
Unless you are near the Tri-cities.
Thanks in advance.

What size tank?
Multifasciatus need a 10 but 20 long is better.
I'd recommend 20 long for gold ocellatus also (can be divided for fry growout on one end or possibly a trio with shells on both ends. Jamarini here on MCA hs some left I think.
Brevis are best if you have room for just a 5g or around that size. They are the least aggressive. I kept a trio successfuly but nobreeding in a 10x10x9 cube for several months.

x2. I kept 2 adult pairs in a 10 gallon. Just put a tall rock in the middle of the tank, shells on both sides, and aside from occasionally looking at each other over the rock, they each left the other alone.
