Is there anyone from the east side that is planning on going to the Oyer's anytime soon ?
I just went today and picked up a "bunch" of fish, unfortunately there were several fish that did not make it to the box, not pointing any fingers at anyone "Betty" LOL but somehow I am missing (3) very nice fish: Lemon Jake, Mloto Likoma and Blue Eyed Pleco.
I can make arrangements to meet you somewhere if you would be so kind as bring them back with you ?
The missing fish have been dropped off ....

They don't live THAT far.

I just got home, I left at 10:30 am this morning. I am not about to get back in my car and go BACK ! My daughter asked me why I was gone so long. I must have lost about 15 lbs do to sweating so protrusively while looking at all their fish ! I did make another stop on may way back to Ken Lewis' and picked up a couple of fish there as well...
If there is anyone going to Oyer's I would really appreciate it if you could bring those fish back... I really wanted that Mloto Likoma...

You're on vacation... aren't you?
-
You're missing fish that you paid for, or missing fish that you forgot to get?
FWIW, John and Betty aren't necessarily active on the forum, so if you're directing any of your post at them it'd be much better to call them than expect a response on here.

I know you are looking for help, which I don't think I can offer. I live about 10 minutes from the Oyer's but I have never actually stepped foot inside. Is it nice place? I would love to hear your comments.

I am missing fish that I paid for already and I have called Betty and we laughed because she found the fish still sitting in the container on top of an aquarium..
I was hoping that someone was planning on going there and if possible could bring them back...

Probably the best selection of fish I have ever seen in one place and they have roughly 400 + tanks. They are the premiere breeders of Frontosa probably in all of North America...If you get a chance I would highly recommend setting up an appointment. They have a standing rule, no walk ins...You MUST call and set up an apt...

Great! I look forward to the opportunity to tour the place. Do you happen to have their phone number?

Type Oyer in search up at the top right, there you will find posts that include Oyer's and you will find a phone number !

Never been there myself but have heard a lot of good things so I'm going to have to get out there sometime.

Wasn't sure where Romeo was - yikes! That's way out there! Unfortunately I can't help, but hope you manage to get your fish. FWIW, the MCA auction is less than 30 days away and the Oyers typically attend, so perhaps that would work as a solution.

Yeah - LOL I was gone for nearly 6 hours yesterday, 1.5 hr there, 2 hrs picking out fish, another 1.5 hr back and I was able to goto another MCA members house Ken Lewis to pick up even more fish.

1.5 hr trip.... heck, I do that once a week just to look at fish with no intention of even buying. ;D
