Title: When did Jewels get so much blue in them?

I never remember Jewels having so much blue on them like I see now.

There's a blue neon variety and the regular kind.  I'm not sure if it's hormones or line breeding or what.  I like the old red kind.  :)

Same here... nice bright red.

I've got some red jewels that I've purposefully avoided the severe blue coloring across the face and body while purchasing. I think it looks much better without it. My female actually has a very nice pattern of white spots, almost if they were just missing the blue pigment. She's the best looking red jewel I've seen yet. She's even got great coloring when she's scared and pale.
