Benga sunshine, German red, OB, and a red shoulder peacock. I'm a newbie too. So if I'm wrong someone please correct or confirm me please. :)

They are chinese farm crap they will loose all the color due to hormones. sorry but you get what you pay for.
-
Lol. I'll give em to my cousin then. Thought something didn't seem right.
-
You sure those are Benga? How do you know they aren't Marleri?
-
Sunshine, red, OB and red shoulder are the best names you could give them, anything beyond that is speculation. Also, those little guys are for sure hormoned. They will lose all that color. They may get it back, or they may not. They may also be female, though with that much color, they're likely male, hormones in the food/water can make females obtain male characteristics.
-
They sure do loooook purdy though!
-
They look nice.
I hope that they keep their color for you.
-
Unfortunately, I agree with the guys. Most likely will loose their color... maybe get it back when they get larger.
Also, most likely a mix.
But, they do look good for now!
Can also tell that they dont know what they are doing as there could have been a royal rumble in that bag. Should have had them all bagged separate.
If you keep them, keep us updated. I wonder how long the color will stay.
-
They prolly will lose thier color. All my other cichlids 2-2.5 inches are just starting to color. These have the color of a fully matured cichlid. Ill post pics again in another month. We will see.

All the Wal-Mart Stores on the West Side of the State that I have visited have Closed Down all their live fish tanks. Just dry good etc. Meijers still sells live fish...the usual Guppies-Swordtails-Mollies etc. and some Cichlids as well as Cory's and Plecos and so forth. Plus some feeder comets. 8)

Same here. Not sure about other locations but my local Troy Walmart stopped carrying live fish and only have dry goods now. Some of the Northern locations (East Tawas) by my cabin still carry fish, 25% of them are dead on the bottom of the tanks whenever I go up there though.
-
Our walmart just upgraded their tanks. Lol. They take good care of them here. There's the occasional dead ones but not many.
-
Our Walmart (Gaylord) still carries fish and does a half decent job of taking care of them. I don't buy from them tho.
-
So what did they charge for each of the fish ?
-
It was like $6.58 or something like that.
