Was wandering if anyone has the supreme ap 100 linear pump or knows of anyone that has it was wandering if it would be big enough for us we are going to be running 2 -75's, 3-55's 1-90 and the rest is little tanks 5's 10's nand a few 20's going to have about 50 stones running all together only found 1 reveiw on the pump and guy said its running 60 tanks with no problems but doesn't say what kind of tanks they are

my problem with the linear air pumps are large drops and deep tanks I run an alta 60 on 23 tanks works really well on the top and middle row really poor on the bottom row about an 8 foot drop. I cant speak to that specific pump though.

Im with Dan On this one, I have the same as him and it does great on my 25+ tanks on a closed loop, but on the bottom tanks or the lower tanks that are the farthest from the pump, I have to raise the filter up on a flower pot in order to get it to pump air.
I noticed you said stones, if you are using air stones that will really cut down on the amount of air being pushed thru the system. I run all sponge and box filters with no air stones because of this reason

I have the Alita-60 and finally hooked up four tanks (20 longs) and I opened the values and the tank looked like it was boiling....more than enough. It is running 30+ sponge filters.
It is also pushing air through some 55s and 30Longs that are on bottom racks.
Do you guys have big drops plus deep tanks?

If you are going to have multiple rows of tanks instead of having all the PVC at the top of the celing the best might be to run it in rows on the wall behind the tanks as this will shorten the drops. I did this with my fry racks and works out great.

Al -60, 44 total drops 16 of which are 6'
