I've had a female Christmas Fulu holding for about 2 wks. now, and haven't set up a tank for her to spit the fry in yet because I've been so busy. Finally got around to it tonight, put in a sponge filter that's been in and out of various tanks for about a month now, and even longer before I bought it with a used 15 Gallon. Is it safe to put her in now, or how long should I wait?

If the sponge was running in healthy tanks for a month or more you're probably good to stick her in now. I'd think you'd be fine.
You could test with a water test kit e.g. the API Freshwater Master kit if you're worried about it.
If you're not sure or the sponge was out of the water for a long time (like hours or days) you need some kind of fish or ammonia source in there to get the bacterial colony going, in which case you could be waiting a month+.
Or just add some Tetra SafeStart/TLC StartSmart to be safe if you have some on hand.

Ok, I'll go ahead and put her in. This filter has been in tanks for months and I haven't dried it out since I got it. Thanks! The plecos i got from you look awesome by the way!

Yeah I understand. Another mca member saw me handoff the fish to you and gave me a hard time about something shady going down. :)
