Title: white top ?

I have a CYNOTILAPIA WHITE TOP that I thought was a male...is holding... need some help..

What do you need help with?  How to strip the fry?  Whether it is a male or female?  What is it in with?

Well, the female will have eggs... the male will fertilize them...

sorry yeah that was in a hurry had t is this commono leave the house um yes that believe is a male white top but it is holding eggs in its mouth....

AFAIK with this species, holding eggs = female.  However, GrizzlysDad had at least one case of a fairly sure male holding eggs.

I think we have all experienced what we THOUGHT was a male, that ended up being a female...

Although I do believe Four_by_Ken had a male who would end up holding,  I guess his female wore the pants in that household  :P

Why do you think its a male?

Although at first glance looks male females occasionally strip and lightly color up.  Depending on circumstances.

Also why do you think its holding?  It doesn't seem to be in the picture you posted.  Sometimes mbuna look to be holding after being feed or sifting.  May just be something in his her mouth possibly.
