I have been reading about HR 3261 (SOPA) and S 968 (PIPA) Internet Blacklist Bills. It does not sound good to me. Wondering what everyone else thinks? Here is a link if you have not heard of these. http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20111122/04254316872/definitive-post-why-sopa-protect-ip-are-bad-bad-ideas.shtml

I spent about 2 minutes trying to figure these out and then got bored. Here are a couple questions to figure it out without spending a lot of time:
1) Is it broke? .... Nope... Then don't fix it.
2) Is it be lobbied by big corporation? ... Yep... Then whatever the bill is it is self serving to them. Almost always not good for the population as a whole.

Vote it down !!!!! Just something Obama is trying to screw the people...

Political topics can often become emotionally charged - let's make sure to keep things civil so this doesn't disappear.
I definitely agree that these aren't good bills and hopefully they go nowhere.
Vote it down !!!!!
That's just it. You don't get to vote on it. You only get to vote in the future as a repercussion to whomever didn't vote as you wish they had.
I posted this a while back. It's a direct reflection of what is started around October with regards to these bills:

It is a bad deal all around. Government is dabbling in very tricky waters and need to watch what they are doing.
