Does anyone have experience with them? They look awesome and wouldn't mind grabbing a few if I can find em.

Super red top hongi.  They are just regular hong I line bred for red.  So they have the same traits as regular hongi.  Pretty typical dwarf mbuna aggressive males need to be kept in groups  crowd the tank to keep aggression down.  I bred these for a while until the male just went nuts killed everything but a single female.  I actually kept the pair together and they bred as a pair for a few months.  I had to keep them separate or he would beat the hell out of her.

They look awesome. I wasn't sure if they were just line bred hongi or if they were a desperate species. Do you remember where you got your group?

There always on aquabid.  I haven't seen them on any companies list as of yet, and I have been looking at all the big ones lately.

Butch from Southeast Cichlids posts them on his German List.  I can let you know next time I plan to do an order, but won't be for a few months.  Also, I can check with a guy I know in OH that was breeding them.

Awesome, still just considering it, but definitely wouldn't mind picking some up in the future.
