Ok! I have had some fish just decide to stop eating and have passed away. (3) different occasions...
Story - All of these fish were males who had paired off with a female and spawned in my all male show Peacock / Hap tanks... Once I identified the unknown female, I removed it from the tank (traded it in for another male fish) .... Then the colored up male would slowly begin to color down and stop eating until he finally just passed away... The females were always from another species as I have no intention on breeding fish at this time.
Is this a case of the fish going into a deep depression from removing the females ???
I just lost a very nice Regal Blue, I recently lost a White Lab and several months ago I almost lost a Ngara Flametail...
What gives ???
