A few weeks ago Stan M. came up with an idea.... MCA bonfire!
Jim Reece has volunteered his place for the location. He has 5 acres, a nice big fire pit & lives close to some big haunted houses /Halloween attractions. (Slaughtered at Sundown, Izzi corn maze, ect )
date: Saturday October 26th at/around dusk.
address: 6069 church rd
Ira, MI 48023
We ask that everybody bring some sort of dish /food item & brings their own beverages. (A folding chair or two probably wouldn't hurt either)
There are motels close by & plenty of space for tents for the members who don't wanna drive back home.

All depends on when Jimmy hits the gas can with the flare gun. :P
-
Lol come on out when ever ur ready
-
Lol, you better set a time or some of these guys will be over at 3pm to get their buzz on!
-
That pit brings back memories when My dad and His friends used to have bonfires. They would use whole trees and load them in the pit with a frt end loader.
I'm bringing Logan and Zack, so It will be a great time for them
-
Lol, given Rich's recent experience with fire, maybe Jim should get some orange marking paint and draw a minimum safe distance line for Rich not to cross ;D
-
That's funny.

I'm confident that there'll be enough 'adult' supervision that we'll be safe.

Have a good time guys. Wish I could join in but I'm workin' on customer rod orders and watchin' the world series.

Have fun everyone!
-
Just got back from the Bon Fire, had a great time, Jim please let your better half know that we really appreciated you allowing us to invade your home. The food was terrific and your tanks are awesome ! I don't think I have ever seen a bigger fire pit, especially one that burns dis-guarded electrical poles ! LMAO !!!! Biggest damn fire pit I have ever seen !
Oh let's not forget the 4 x 4 off-road show in the back 40 !!! Ken you would have loved it !
Talked to lots of people who I met for the first time, Dan hope you guys made it back to Midland safe...
I had a great time - we should make this a yearly event to close out summer and head into Winter !
I look forward to talking with everyone again, especially Omar's brother and his rented Goat ! It's true, goats do eat anything!!
Oh and to Blair who finally showed up 3 hours late !!!
-
Omar sitings were plentiful

Had a great time & it was good to see everybody who was still there by the time I showed up. Sorry I missed everybody who had left.
HUGE Thank you to Jim & Hollie for hosting the party
-
Hollie and i say thank you

-
I would like to see this every year.At different locations
-
I think earlier in the year would be a good idea, too.
Still had a good time, and thanks to Jim and Hollie for hosting!
-
Very nice place Jim! I didn't stay in the house to visit the all the other heat seekers and my glasses were foggin up! Babysat the Goat at fireside! Got tired of waiting for Blair to show up. I will have to stop by in a week or 2 to pick up the cookie sheet we forgot. Nice to meet some of the newer guys from the site. Waren
