Title: Synodontis eruptus ...worth?

Just a question...what would you say a 4" Synodontis eruptus is worth??

I ask because I just bought two a few weeks ago at $15 for each 3-4" each from a local guy. I wanted a few more but after seeing them at the LFS for $15 at 2" each and $30 for a 4" one that kind'a blew my mind. I though that was just crazy IMO for them, is it just me or??

I payed $8.99 for mine from my lfs at 2" $30 sounds really high to me

Although 30 is a little high, a LFS can never beat the price of a local guy. There is Store front, wages, dead loss etc. So the mark up is considerably more.

The other reason you got them so cheap from the guy could be because many stores don't want them back.  I tried trading some of mine in a while back and no one wanted them.  So I held on to them.

I bought a .75" one a month or so ago,  he is now over 4"...these guys grow FAST...
