Im not sure, there are no egg spots yet on any of the four,  ??? But the shimmer of blue you mentioned id did notice on at least two i believe. And the blaze in the dorsal fin sure seems more prominant in at least two. ??? ??? Guess im gonna have to wait it out and see. The good thing is there all healthy, and great lookin fish.  ;D ;D

Cool! FWIW, they don't get egg spots like many other malawians do, but if they show any blue shine at all they are 100% males.  ;)

See that is exactly why i wanted to get the first hand advice. I was on a site, after a google search and i know i read that the males will get egg spots. I know that you have kept, or still do keep them. Thank you for the info, and i will be sure to keep a close eye on them.  :D And the blaze in the dorsel fin, is almost a black line ??? sortof. Anyway thanks again.

SAWEET!!! Im hopin for true blue then. What upsets me, is that about 2 weeks ago i was in the super Wal-Mart, and checked out the fish.  ??? Like i do eveytime i go there, and there was a very great looking Lots of blue showing Venustus. I know I know. Don't support walmart. But i could have picked him up, quarenteened him, and then added him to my mix.... ::) Ohh well, no biggy right....
