Depends.on how cheap gas is this year. I know people who use them and seem to like them. Best.bet.for cheap and easy is a wood furnace. Well not cheap to buy one but some times you see the.old ones.

Wood furnaces are much more difficult to regulate hear output.

Dis you even try the electric before you change your mind?  You're like the weather.

I have seen those gas heaters out in my neck of the woods.  But never talked to anyone about them, but never hears any complaints either.

Good for supplemental heat.

I have only seen them with propane, as that is what everyone has around me.

Ken you are right i do change my mind a lot,But I got a smoking deal on one of these gas heaters and using natural gas is a lot cheaper then The electric heater, and I'm hoping it will heat the room more evenly.

Rich, I've been using a ventless natural gas heater similar to the one you're considering for three or four years now with ZERO complaints.  It's hooked up to my natural gas line and works even when there's a power outage.  You'll need to use a fan of some kind to move the air around and distribute the heat more evenly top to bottom and I'd recommend insulating the room ceiling and walls to keep your gas bills even lower.  Mine has been great and tons cheaper than using electricity even at the higher gas rates of a few years ago.
