Anyone ever have a whitish circular 3/32 nd size growth under the jaw of a Calvus.Stumps me, tank has been well taken care of regular 7-10 day water changes, cleaned gravel 10 days ago and filters are cleaned every water change. I did add 3 punks to the tank but they were healthy in another tank and had been in the 125 gal Calvus tank before. He seems stressed and others are picking on him. There are approx 20 comps and calvus in the tank and have been together for at least a year.I've never seen this before and I don't know what to treat with? Thanks for any comments

Pic would help. Does it look like a grain of salt, or more like a bump under the skin?

If its what I think it is I had one on my red borleyi and I red that it is from fighting or rubbing the wrong way on a rock like a pimple type thing. I used some melafix and it cleaned it up in about a week but pictures would help for sure

Sorry for late reply,no it is not internal more like what Loon36cf said more like a pimple. the fish have been healthy and the rest look good. I'll watch him for a day or 2 and see what happens he is a big healthy male so I hope he recovers. If I didn't say there are 20 plus comps and calvus in the tank and they are always having minor fights but never any injuries. They have spawed many times but I have at least 6 different types so I let nature take its corse and never save any fry. Thanks, maybe someone else has experienced this?
