Title: Help please can male cichlids hold

It looks like my male peacock is holding is this possible???? He is not eating and staying in pretty much one spot as well as a motion like he is tumbling eggs

Shouldn't be. Could be hormones and really a female could also be bloat.

So I took him out to see what was in his mouth and yes I found about 15 eggs and 6 little pieces of gravel. He is 100 percent a male but I'm unsure why he had the eggs like he was tumbling them. Unless he tried eating them and took up too much gravel that he couldn't swallow them? I have no idea.

How long have you had him? Where did you get him from?

About a month and he's about 5 6 inches I got him from Gcalvus
