Title: Krazy lesbian Frontosa colony
Post by: Stramn on July 03, 2013, 02:17:16 AM
I'm looking to start a big lesbian frontosa tank, with females of each collection point. I think it would look very nice and it would be easier than using big males... What does MCA think of this idea?

Mixing collection points deliberately is almost always a bad idea.  For example if you want to sell them later, how will you tell them apart?  If you decide to breed them later, you'll have the same problem.  I'd pick one collection point you like best and stick with that.

Well, it would be pretty easy to tell the black widow, the red Burundi, and the kigoma apart and from what I've seen, mobas stand apart from the rest too. With no males in the tank, it would just be the sexy ladies.

On the other hand, I could just go around collecting everybodies sub-dom males and make an all male setup, I just worry about aggression.
