Title: Some of my catfish
Post by: Steve on June 28, 2013, 04:15:27 PM
Added a new catfish species recently so just thought I'd take some pics of the new one as well as the rest of them. This is the new one I just added, he is a Synodontis euptera (he's the one on the right)

Then there are four of the ever popular Synodontis multipunctata

And then one of my favorites are my pair of Angelicus X Eupterus (Hybrid)

Then my pair of Corydoras

And my trio of Albino Corydoras

Beautiful! I love them. Such pretty patterns. I have 3 synodontis petricola! Love the catfish!

Thanks, I'm getting more and more into catfish for some reason. I'm looking forward to getting my 265g tank up and running soon because I would like to find some sort of cat species to go in there that get bigger than these, yet not "too big" though. If there is a species like that, gonna have to do some research when I'm ready to stock that tank.

I just picked up a 125 that came with a bunch of cichlids and a few bottom feeders of sorts. I have two monster plecostmus in there and not sure what they are yet but don't look common.

Oops I take it back! They are common! Ha! I thought the commons were an ugly brown.

Nice cat collection Steve.  Any plans on breeding the Multis?

Not as of now Blair. I just had my labs breed for the very first fish I ever had breed for me so I'm waiting to see how they do and if they do well then I may set up a few tanks this fall and try to do a bit of breeding on a couple fish, we'll see what happens.  (the lab fry are doing REALLY well now.....about 2 weeks old and already seem to have doubled in size ;D)
