Title: when to strip my fry...

looks like I may have another female holding right now the first on I have spiit when I was moveing fish around seting up a new tank.. now looking  it looks like I haveone holding she isn't eating and is looking skiny...

how do u do that with out her spiting?? I last one I had hold spit when I was moveing her..

If the fish is still in water they can spit the eggs from there mouth. So if you were to quickly net her and pull her straight out of the water there will be less of a chance for spitting fry and or eggs. To see if they are ready to be stripped you can carefully pry he mouth open some in a well lite area and take a peak.
