Title: Help me identify this cichlid

I got this guy a while back and was very grey now he is coloring up and I'm unsure what he is based on the different coloration he's getting

Thats different.

I am curious to see what everyone has to say.  Almost looks like a Victorian crossed with a Peacock.

(but as always with ID of fish... I dont know crap)

I couldnt tell you but I second that it does look like it has some Victorian in I almost looks like it has some jewel cichlid in it but I couldnt tell you. No matter the fish is very colorful that is for sure! And very cool!

I agree that's what he looks like to me and I've searched high and low to find a picture that resembled him but nothing

I have these they are blue and yellow there is no red at all those guys and there are ither differences I could see, unless your saying that he is a mix between the vics and ethelwynnae but I dont see it. sorry im js

Ya he is similar but he has reds and purples in him I think he might just be a hybrid of some sort

Yeah the egg spots look off and the color does too but its too hard to say what the mix is I can't get the pics to go bigger on my phone ill look after I leave work.

Royal Oak Tropical & Bird? 
 I was in there Saturday & they have tons of hybrids (labeled as such) There's a strong chance it is hybrid already, going by looks, now I'd just count it as one.

Ya that store it wasn't labeled as anything really at all he said he didn't know what kind it was and just have me a price but ya I will count it as a hybrid for sure either way I love his coloration
