I got this guy a while back and was very grey now he is coloring up and I'm unsure what he is based on the different coloration he's getting
-
Thats different.
I am curious to see what everyone has to say. Almost looks like a Victorian crossed with a Peacock.
(but as always with ID of fish... I dont know crap)
-
I couldnt tell you but I second that it does look like it has some Victorian in I almost looks like it has some jewel cichlid in it but I couldnt tell you. No matter the fish is very colorful that is for sure! And very cool!
-
I agree that's what he looks like to me and I've searched high and low to find a picture that resembled him but nothing

Ya he is similar but he has reds and purples in him I think he might just be a hybrid of some sort
-
Yeah the egg spots look off and the color does too but its too hard to say what the mix is I can't get the pics to go bigger on my phone ill look after I leave work.

Where did it come from? The guy with the Xmas Fulus, who's CL ads show everything packed together?
-
Definitely looks like a victorian/peacock cross to me.

Royal Oak Tropical & Bird?
I was in there Saturday & they have tons of hybrids (labeled as such) There's a strong chance it is hybrid already, going by looks, now I'd just count it as one.
-
Ya that store it wasn't labeled as anything really at all he said he didn't know what kind it was and just have me a price but ya I will count it as a hybrid for sure either way I love his coloration
