Title: Canadian eh
Post by: waldo1959 on May 21, 2013, 06:43:34 PM
I have been reading messages for several weeks and just decided to join.  I come from the frozen north, actually from Sarnia .... across the creek from Port Huron.  I would say you have the best site for sharing ideas and encouraging each other.  I initially was looking for Festae as we have none locally.  Even though I haven't been threatened with any Festae yet, I have a few leads and got the chance to read many excellent posts.  And, yes, I am a Wings fan.  I just got back into the addiction and recently bought a fry size colony of Demasoni.  I might try Electric Blue haps, Christmas Fulus, OB Peacocks, and sp44 red tails .... I have connections for these.  I just need to convince my wife to give up the basement.

I think if someone were to develop a pill that made wives agree to multiple aquariums, they could probably make some money!

Welcome from across the St Clair River.  I've probably seen you while cruising down the river in the summer.

Hurry up and put up all the tanks now and just act surprised when she sees them.

Welcome.  Set them up and tell her the fish fairy must have brought them while you were sleeping.

Welcome to the forum.

Just remember it is always easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.

You could always use the old stand by  "We can make some money by buying small and selling large"  that seems to work roughly 50% of the time.   The only draw back is when the fish are fully grown and colored up,  you don't really want to get rid of them.  So the next old stand by "Hey we can make even more money if we breed fish". Then you can justify adding more tanks for the breeding process.  This however tends to lead to a call to a lawyer more times than not...

Good Luck  !
