Title: New light problem
Post by: Crfish on May 13, 2013, 08:07:55 PM
When I received the 75 I got a new light with it. The tank used to be salt water tank so the light is very bright I dimmed it down with some tint over my glass it just seems the fish do not like it is this a permanent or temporary dislike? Should I change bulbs I know that they are reef ready since this was a salt tank before? Just wondering what I should do or any other suggestions?

I have two 48" Coralife salt fixtures on my Peacock tank.  4 bulbs total.  Two white, two blue.

I love a LOT of light and the fish don't seem to care one bit.

I think its personal choice, there are some High watt bulbs for saltwater but those are for corals and very deep tanks, so I'm sure you will be ok
