-
Oo female oo male kinda looks male to me. But i'm looking from my phone
-
Well...that clears it up LOL ;D
-
Male
-
i say it defintely a male or a female. sorry, i cant tell.
-
I would say female.
-
female
-
hermaphrodite
-
A rule of thumb: If the anal and urogenital openings are about the same size it's male; if the urogenital opening is noticeably larger than the anal opening it's female.
-
Well we've done well really narrowed it down it's safe to say this fish is either male, female, or both can close now.
-
I agree with mike.
-
After everyone agrees on this lab. I have 50 more that need to be sexed. Who is up for it?

just bring them to me & once I figure out which is which, I'll tell you.
It'll only cost you 50 Labs. :P
-
Do I need to vote for male or female to tie it up? :P
Do you have another of a known sex? If so, then you've got something to compare against - helps me sometimes.

I have an all male Peacock tank. That's a good idea Ron I never even thought about getting one of those and comparing it.

the only problem is you have the whole "brown eye" circled. The vent itself is what you go by, the area around it is irrelevant.

Ahh see that is what I was looking at as well. I was thinking that whole area was what you looked at to compare, now that makes sense though.

The whole "brown" area is the vent...

OK, I'm just going by what must be the cameras flash

yeah, I noticed that as well, but having vented plenty of fish for my own tanks, I recognized that as a "sparkle".

see I have too, but most my venting has been New World's & in their case you just look for the o>
BTW - you do realize you basically said her brown eye has a sparkle, right? :P
