Title: renovating my fish room
Post by: RichE on May 07, 2013, 11:14:24 AM
I am redoing the room, to make it a room. I have added 2 wall and now I have to start building racks.

Its a slow process with a gimped up knee and other issues but I will get-r-done.

As soon as I get it "cleaned" I will start taking pictures

It might take me awhile to get it done fully but it will great because the whole family is looking forward to Inc the wife ;D

I will take some tonight,3/4 of the tanks are full. The 2 125's I have to cap the sump holes before I fill them

I have a lot of misc stuff laying around and the walls are not "finished" so it looks a little "ruff" but hey its a fish room :P

well I still need to hang the door LOL, but with help of chris Loon36, we moved a 125 out, moved in a 110 high and moved a 90 out of the middle of the room.

I am going to take his advice and remove the 75 and fill that spot with 20 highs since I have 3 large tanks already.

I am then going to put 3 iron rack in the center with 29's and 20 longs to fill the space with more tanks:)

I got most of the insulation in the ceiling

I promise for those who care lol I will post pictures soon LOL

I had to take a "remodeling break" fr a few weeks, after I fell of the deck and really jacked my self up, new injuries on top of the old ones.

I will take a picture of where its at when I get home today.

Still a lot of little things to do, but its its a room not a hi-rise apt in NYC LOL
