I would like to suggest a sticky in the "For Sale" forum.
Required info:
1) Pricing
2) Location
3) Pick up or shipping available
4) Sex of fish, if known
5) accurate size estimate
6) possible trade option

All that as REQUIRED info? I would say make a couple required and the rest suggested perhaps? Not everyone wants to reveal their location or an exact $ on something all the time. Just saying!

It really helps to streamline a thread where a person doesn't have to go searching through all the replies to find the answers that will surely be asked by potential buyers.
Location can be as simple as the city you live in. If you don't put that in the thread, someone will undoubtedly ask the inevitable question: "where are you located?"
Ditto on the pricing...how else will anyone know if they are willing to spend the money? You can always post a price as $X or best offer.
I have heard so many people say that if a thread doesn't post a price, they lose interest immediately.

As simple as a PM to also keep the clutter out of the sale thread? For the location i would put a general location like "Metro Detroit" which is still pretty vague but people in the area get the idea. If i was in the west side of the state and i read "Metro Detroit", i wouldn't bother lol.

"Metro Detroit" is a vast area...and with gas prices the way they are I just feel a more localized idea is better.
The simple PM will probably not be from just one member, so why would you want to answer the same question over and over from several members?

Marty could always make his suggestion of putting your location in your profile a requirement to resolve that 8)

I guess it would keep people logging in to look for responses lol :o
In the end it is all opinionated to who prefers what, keep the suggestions rollin Grizzly!
