Post by: RichE on April 17, 2013, 11:40:15 AM
Anyone know if the playlist you create on there site can sent to a usb drive?

I went all out and bought one of those $40 radios at mickey shores( I know Big spender) and it only uses usb and sd cards. No cd's and I have found some awesome licks on spotify

Looks like it is the same idea as Pandora or iHeartRadio.  No?

If so, then you cant download music from there.  So, the USB drive is of no use.

Its like pandora but you can make your own playlist, and there is a way to download to your iphone/ipad android device but I dont want to use my phone as the storage device as I have a habit of talking on it when driving ;D

Do you have to pay to download the songs?

I cant see how they are getting away with this.

I doubt you can use it to download songs for free. You'll more than likely have to pay.

I agree. Some bands offer "free downloads" from their .com's, but Lars Ulrich put an end to the free stuff with Napster. Rightfully so.

It simply amazes me how often I desperately need a magic translation button when it comes to today's modern technology.
I have no clue what has been posted in this thread...it might as well be entirely in Vietnamese or something  ::)

Rich, I am sure your radio came with a AUX audio jack.  You can plug you smartphone into the jack and stream Spotify, Panaora, iHeart Radio or Slacker.
