Title: Some new fish
Post by: Steve on April 06, 2013, 10:40:10 PM
Didn't really plan on buying any new fish today, was just "looking"...but found a few that I had to bring home. A new 4.5" yellow lab that has some great bright color, and then got a deal on a trio of 4" Clown Loaches. I've never had Clown Loaches before but always wanted some. They had thee of them left, one is 3" and the other two around 4" and they were priced at $23.99 each. After talking with the guy I always buy fish from he offered the trio of them to me for $45...I couldn;t say no to that deal. The other two are hiding but here is one of the Loaches and the lab.

NICE!!!! And he gave you a killer deal on the three loaches. Keep an eye on them for ich for a few days....common ailment with them when relocated.

Thanks Tony I will keep an eye on the loaches to make sure they don't start showing any signs. They will end up in the 265g tank later this summer that I got from you. For the next few months though they will be in the 55g till I can afford to get that tank all set up. So far they seem to be doing pretty well. One of the three seems to be coming out pretty often, a 2nd one will poke around a bit every once in awhile, the 3rd one is still pretty skittish right now. The Mbuna all seem to be totally indifferent to them so far and not bugging them in the least which is good.

Yeah he's the smallest of the four cats in that tank but he looks smaller in that pick just because he was turning right as I snapped the pic so he looks all jacked out of shape in the picture. He's actually about 3" long.
