Looks interesting...how is the flooring going to look long-term? Will you have to get additional power to that location I assume?

No leveling of the ground?

No leveling of the ground?
That spot looked pretty level already so nothing was done.

Plywood floor IIRC.

Is there a reason you didnt use treated wood for the floor?
I would be afraid that the floor 2x4s would start to rot after a couple years.

Treated wood is too expensive for this budget!

Can you get your hands on some bricks? It would be a real good idea to get those 2x4s out of the dirt and grass.
Space out some old bricks ever 12" or so. That would get it out of the dirt and also allow it to dry faster when it does rain.
Or even space out other 2x4s under there to raise it up off the ground.

Would you like my opinion? I've been doing general construction since I was thirteen framing for the past three and currently general contracting including building code.

I appreciate the offer and will send you a PM. ;)
Got more done: roof framed:

I started on the flooring, but mis-measured. I'll leave the gaps for water drainage though in case a tank fails:

I dunno man over time that baby is going to sink and become unlevel. Its not to late to lay some cement.

Are the fish that you raise in there going to taste like chicken and/or chicken eggs?

No way! :o

Alright, I can't hold a straight face anymore! I am incredible impressed however with how polite everyone's been when trying to suggest that this is a failure waiting to happen!
I apologize for anyone who got excited thinking that I was actually putting up a fish house - isn't happening.
For anyone looking for real ideas, consider these images as ways that you SHOULDN'T build a structure! There are many, many things wrong in each and every photo!
I'm about 4 days late for this to have been an April Fool's ruse, but I didn't happen across it until today! Here's the original content:
http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/showthread.php/146566-Build-to-Fail-Fail-to-Build.-What-is-this-I-don-t-even.....
Be sure to check page 17 for photos of it nearly complete! :o

Whew. I was going to type up a PM tonight.
My first thought... fish house! Kick butt!
then I got to a computer where I could see the pictures. Uh oh.
I was thinking... well, let's start with the foundation.
Good one.

I've already gotten a few PMs along those lines, LOL, but everyone was politely concerned and none went "OMG THAT'S NUTS!"
What kills me is that in the thread I linked, there's a photo where it appears the guy hammered square-drive screws as nails?! And I can't believe they were able to stand on the roof while laying shingles!
-
I knew it had to be a late April fools joke, hence why I didn't reply because I thought something seemed a bit "fishy" about this post ;)
I can't believe someone actually built that and posted pictures of it. Me thinks there had to be more empty beers used in that construction than nails lol
-
Nice one.

Oh you big goof ball you!
-
Ron, one look at that piece of lollipop & I KNEW you weren't really building it. Nice try tho.

The person who took the pictures was the renter of the house on the property. It was the landlord building it as a "storage shed".

Good use of the forums new favorite word. ;) I figured some who'd seen my tank stand builds from the past wouldn't buy it as my work.

Glad I kept my mouth shut then. LOL
-
If this was something you actually where building, my impression of you was going down several notches. Lol. I knew you couldn't possibly be building that and proudly showing it off. ;D

Funny you mention that... before the truth was told... part of my conversation contained... " I thought he was a smarter guy than that."

That looks like the beginnings of something great. Thats dedication. Keep us posted on progress

I just stumbled upon this and I could tell from the first picture it wasn't anything done by Ron, sure i have only met him once but you can tell a lot about a man from one conversation, and the work done on this "project" wasnt good enough for a goat chicken or a goldfish

Go back and reread it bud. I think you misses a couple key points of this.
