Title: GDAS Auction
Post by: Aquaman19 on March 16, 2013, 06:05:16 PM
Had a good time at the auction today.  Walked away with some plants and assassin snails.  Was running fish most of the time but enjoyed it none the less.  Can't wait to see one of the cichlid auctions this year.

I stopped in to pick up some driftwood from Rob (thanks Rob) and I looked the fish table over. There was an Albino BPN there that I would have bid on, but that room was WAY to small and there were WAY too many people for that size room. I'm not exactly a "people person" when it comes to being jammed together so I didn't stay for more than about 15mins tops ;D

It was pretty crowded today but I suppose that helps raise more money. ;D  I wonder if they are going to consider a new venue next time.  They probably have a good relationship with the current location though.

Considering the weather they had a good turn out, I ended up with some magizines from 1970.
